Don’t let her get it from someone else.

A recent survey has shown us that 4 out of 5 women who cheat do it
because their spouse has a small P$NIS.

Another survery shows us that 3 out of 5 men have a below average P$NIS.

Do you need anymore evidence?

A question of grammar

I went out to drink for the first time in ages last night. And was reminded of a question that’s bugged me about grammar and drinking for a while.

When ordering more than one burbon and coke, do you ask for “two bourbon and cokes” or “two bourbons and coke” - I favour the second, and bartenders seem to understand my request.

Thoughts?

Stag/Hen/Pre-nuptial Party

It’s about 4:30am here. I recently arrived home from our combined Stag/Hens party, which I have dubbed our ‘pre-nuptial’ party. I am quite drunk, but I can type if I think about it.

Lucas Rossi at ShowgirlsIt started at 7:30pm at the Pearl Garden restaurant in Newmarket - great Chinese food, at reasonably good prices. Then on to Newmarket 10pin for bowling at 9:30pm. We left there about midnight (I played a shit game) and into the CBD to Fordes bar (Ryan’s bar of choice) for more drinking and a few rounds of ‘I have never’. At about 3:3oam the five remaining (Me, Mel, Morgan, Glen and Robyn) trekked to Queen St for taxis. As we passed Showgirls (Auckland’s premier stripclub) we saw none-other than Rockstar Supernova’s Lukas Rosi enjoying a ciggy on the footpath outside. Dirty old Lucas, hanging out at strip clubs!!!

I am tired and drunk, but I can’t sleep. So I will download the photos from my camera, and put them online then maybe try for sleep again.

I’m super famous…

NZ Herald - March 7, 2006 - Business SectionAt work I have been working on deploying a free community wifi network in Parnell, supported by Parnell Mainstreet (the business association). Anyway, it’s officially launced now, and today there was an article in The Herald about it. Online is doesn’t look like much, but in print it was pretty impressive - the lead story on the front page of the Business section, with a photo about 1/3 of the above-the-fold part of the page.

For the photo, we went onto the roof of the building where our main antenna array is located, and I essentially stood in front of a low-powered microwave oven for a few minutes looking pensive and thoughtful as the photographer snapped away.
