This is just fantastic. It really is. I am going to be so so so so rich.

It is a little unusual that her email address has changed (and it’s a Yahoo email) but I guess that’s a security measure. That’ll be it.

I hope all that is right – I am so tired a lot of the time that I simply forget a lot of stuff. I might be confused on a few of those details, but I’m sure it’ll all work out.

Money money money!

I got the exact message… so… did you ever get the money or did she say you had to pay lot to get it?

  2. Dylan says:

I got a couple of absurd forms to fill out and gave up.

My understanding is that the next step is pretty much having to pay some sort of ‘processing fee’ as an overseas winner. It can’t be deducted from your winnings because they are held in a secured fund.

I read an article the other day saying up as many as 10,000 New Zealanders fall victim to foreign lottery scams every year. I find that amazing – they whole thing is so clearly fake.

  3. lisagarrison says:

So is this a scam or Is it real .Some one contacted me!!!!

  4. Dylan says:

It’s a scam. You will never win an email lottery – there is no such thing. You can’t win a lottery without buying a ticket.

Similarly, Microsoft, Coca Cola, IBM etc will never offer you some silly amount of money via email for some odd purpose.

Basically, an email that turns up, unexpectedly, offering you money is a scam.
